In this current article it talks about a program that controls food packaging waste in Phoenix, Arizona. Almost 40% of food is wasted in the U.S. Food Packaging like containers, plates and utensils are made of plastic. Most of the time are wind up sitting in landfills. Arizona is hosting a Sustainable Packaging expo. It will educate people about recyclable and compostable materials that they can use instead. They can use bamboo and bagasse.  According to the EPA, and The (MSW) Municipal Solid Waste it generated to 77.9 million tons in 2015. I feel everyone should take responsibility.
