For the green new Deal, the role of agricultural emissions in climate change is a problem. They are trying to decrease pollution. According to the article, agriculture was responsible for 9 percent of the greenhouse gas emissions in the United States in 2016. That would be the fifth largest source of causes of emissions in the environment. Cows produce 26.9 percent of methane emissions, more than any other source. Killing cows are making our planet problematic.  If we gave up on meat, do you think the climate change actually get better? The next question is how would we get milk? If you don’t slaughter the cow, then the meat is wasted.
